step 2: write down your dreams
Would you like an adventure now, or shall we have tea first? - Alice in wonderland
Time needed: around 30 minutes
Did you know that you are more likely to make your dreams come true if you write them down?
reason 1 : so you can re-read them later, that is obvious, no?
reason 2: you engrave the dream a little deeper into your brain
STEP 3: WALK YOUR DREAM FEELINGS TO LIFE
You can do this meditation for your 4 “dream feelings” you have written down. You can do one walk with the recording and the next one, just give it a try on your own, it is okay of you improvise a bit, just see what comes up for you. Then do the third again with the recording and the last one improvise. Tell us how it goes in the facebook group!
Time: 30 minutes. Place: where you can walk, and have a moment to close your eyes to meditate
Step 4: write any insights or dreams that came from your walk(s) in your notebook
Create a habit to notice and write down your dreams in this one place, your notebook.
Step 5: set up your inner dreamcatcher with this yogavideO & 5 minutes a day
Time needed for the yoga video to relax senses and open your inner ears and eyes: 1h
Time needed to become a dreamcatcher: minimum 5 minutes a day, no maximum
5 steps to become a dreamcatcher:
Create at least one moment a day to just relax en be present. You can go for a walk, do yoga, meditate, free associative writing, take a relaxing bath, garden, shower, take some conscious breaths, doodle, color a mandala, …find out what works for you and let us know in the facebook group ! PS: if you haven’ had the time in the day, just make it a habit to drink a relaxing tea, do a yogapose or take a shower before bed to wind down before you sleep…
Set clear boundaries. Choose how much time you have and make sure you don’t get distracted during that time. When the input of new information stops, your creative brain can start to process all the information of your external and internal world. This is your dreaming time.
Become a good listener and learn the language of your dreams: an image, a word, a sudden feeling, a vague sensation, …. Just notice what is present from your heart. Your dreams and ideas live inside you, so let your attention be drawn inward. Open your inner hears, to hear your dreams. Open your inner eyes, to see the visions and ideas you have. Feel what is present and pay attention to what your emotions are telling you. Listen without judging and be open to your unlimited potential. Pay special attention to moments when you naturally relax like at night when you sleep, in the twilight between sleeping and waking, in the shower, during a massage, when you are with good friends ... Cherish those moments and be aware of your inner dreams talking to you.
Make it a habit to write down your dreams in one specific place, but do it your way .
When something important pops up during the day, make it a habit to write it down before you go to bed or when it happens at night, write it down even before breakfast.
Maybe do some 10 minute free writing once a week, as your dreamcatcher relax moment. Just be open to whatever comes up without judgment during those 10 minutes.
Create this open channel of communication between you and your dreams in your own unique way. When your dreams feel you are noticing them, they will come up more often and become stronger.
Enjoy those moments, make them fun and pleasurable, than you wil do it again and make them longer. :-)
step 6:Bring it all together in your dream (cake)
Recipe and instructions are in the notebook
step 7: prepare to have a dream (cake) party walk
Save the date: 21/02/201
Start place: around Merchtem, exact location will be in the facebook group.
What you need: your dream (cake) and walking boots
THE GOAL OF THIS MODULE
You have (re)connected with the dreamer in you and have found a way to communicate with your dreams (ideas, desires, hunches, ..) for at least 5 minutes a day
you have written down some of your dreams in your notebook (digital or on paper), however vague they may be and made your first dream cake
HOW TO CONTINUE FROM HERE?
You are ready for Chapter 2: start to flow. It is through action that your dreams will become clearer, so don’t wait until your dreams are clear to start the flow.
Around the new moon we will make it a habit to come back to your dreams (notebook), to reconnect with the dreams you have written down, maybe write down some new dreams, and choose what dream we wil work on for the new moon cycle to bring the dream to life. But more about that in the next chapters. See you there!
